Thank you for visiting, Aunt Myrna and Uncle Danny. Neal is local but we usually only see him with out of town family.

Half Birthday Cake

Honestly, just for an excuse for another cake from our favorite bakery, we decided to celebrate the girl's half birthdays.

Here is Lauren and her friend Abi walking their siblings to school on the first day. Thanks to Abi's mom for taking the picture. One more year and these two will be going to their first day of elementary school.

First Day for First Grade

We have started back at school. The timing of the school bell dominates our mornings again. We walk in the neighborhood parade each day. This year, Rachel gets to go straight into the classroom instead of lining up and waiting for the teacher to walk the class inside. Ms. Lowe, Rachel's teacher, has a little project waiting for them to play with when they arrive. All the kids and parents (ourselves included) really like the open door policy.
