Lego Builders

We have always had a bucket of big Legos around but the girls have only recently picked it as one of their favorite activities. Once they made a huge tower (with help) Rachel decided they could make an even bigger one on the floor. Then my type A girls decided to make small rainbow columns of red-yellow-green-blue.

Preparing for August

Rachel is now registered for kindergarten and is very excited to be going. Alex and I had a parent orientation and tour on Jan 31st. It was so sweet to see the kids in class. Judging by how many parents were asking about transfering into our elementary school, the first day of registration was going to be crazy. I went on day 2 and waltzed right in. They told me that the day before you had to wait 2 hours outside just to get into the waiting room. We will find out in March if she gets into the elementary school down the street or if we have to gear up for a fight.

Gymnastics Clips

Both girls really enjoy gymnastics class. Rachel likes doing new things. Lauren likes running around. Though the day Lauren did her first monkey flips on the rings I didn't have my camera. More to come.
