I don't know what to say

Sigh. We have altered the universe somehow. Diseases that are supposed to be once in a lifetime are now like the common cold for our family. Yes, I am taking about chicken pox again. Those pesky spots have visited us again. I tried denial but it didn't work - daycare and the pediatrician confirmed the worst. At first I would only believe Lauren had them again since she had the most spots (that would be her third case plus the vaccine) but Rachel really does too (also her third time plus the obviously useless vaccine). For me I still am in complete denial and firmly believe that my couple itches are just sympathy spots. Alex actually asked the pediatrician how many more times we would need to get the chicken pox to be featured in a journal article. If we are to get them again (ohmigod, really #4?) we are supposed to bring the girls in right away to get a dose of acyclovir to shorten the course. I am just stuck for an explanation for our susceptibility with chicken pox!!
